BLUEGRASS GOSPEL FROM THE HEART
The Herrin Family is a bluegrass gospel band from Fort Worth, Texas. We have been singing and ministering since 1996.
Curry Herrin has been a licensed minister since 1984. He has ministered in several churches, missions, and nursing homes and on the streets of Fort Worth.
Jeremy, 25, started playing bass guitar at age nine. He has excelled his talents to include mandolin, lead guitar, banjo, and numerous other instruments. He also writes and arranges the music for the band.
Chris, 22, started playing the drums at the age of ten and now plays the mandolin.
John Gallant, 23, plays the Stand-Up Bass and does a wonderful job.
Darla Gallant, John's mother, sings the high tenor part. She has a wonderful and unique voice that is an excellent addition to the group.
Rebekah Enright, 16, started playing the fiddle at the age of 5. She has won numerous awards for her dynamic fiddle playing. She is a great addition to the band.
The Herrin Family has won numerous awards through the years and was awarded 2008 TIMA Bluegrass Band of the Year Award.
